Poultry farmers, processors, and distributors across Latin America come together annually on the first Friday of July to celebrate Latin American Chicken Day. Established by the Latin American Chicken Institute (ILP) and the Latin American Poultry Association (ALA), the day highlights the vital role the chicken industry plays in Latin America's economic and social development.
In 2024, the Mexican Poultry Institute (INA) marked the occasion by hosting a series of online conferences, reaching a wide audience through YouTube and Facebook Live. USAPEEC proudly sponsored the celebration.
