2nd FSIS meat and poultry export customs regulatory seminar
FSIS commissioned USAPEEC and USMEF to hold the 2nd closed-door seminar on customs regulatory technical issues in Sanya, Hainan province on January 7. FSIS Beijing director Ronnie Dunn introduced the functions of FSIS as well as U.S. meat and poultry export certification procedure to participants through the seminar, answered the technical questions they encounter in actual operation, and expressed the willingness to help them solve the problems and ultimately promote the smooth development of U.S.-Sino meat and poultry trade. USMEF and USAPEEC had invited 40 representatives of major import customs declaration agents from South China provinces, as well as representatives of U.S. meat and poultry exporters and Chinese importers and ATO Guangzhou staff. The discussion lasted for four hours, all participants gained a lot of information.
