U.S. meat and poultry exports Safety and Supervision workshop in Nanjing

The workshop was held on June 5 at the Westin Nanjing Hotel, it was co-organized by USMEF and USAPEEC. The organizers invited a total of 46 attendees including import agents and importers and traders from China east area to attend. In addition to PHIS system introduction and updates, training by FSIS Beijing director James Chisholm, attendees exchanged the opinions with the organizers on the common issues when importing U.S. poultry and meat products, covering trade policy issues and technical issues.
